This week we were delighted to be able toĀ support our local NHS team, North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, by donating Ā£100 towards raffle prizes and a locally-sourced hamper for their spring charity ball.
The hamper was hand-picked by the Health Spaces team and delivered in-person to the Charity Hub at Peterborough Hospital this week.
Funds raised from the event support the Trust in the following ways:
- Patients: Going the extra mile to ensure every patient experiences the best possible outcome and the highest quality of care in comfortable surroundings.
- Staff: Supporting staff with additional training, allowing them to keep up-to-date with new processes and innovations from the wider health service.
- Equipment: Providing additional equipment to enhance patient care and provide the best possible treatment.
- Research and Development: Providing funds to promote wider research and staff development.
- Environment: Improve the environment and patient comforts, creating an ambient atmosphere and making the space more welcoming and comfortable for everyone.
Last year’s charity ball raised over Ā£27,000. With over 280 guests, the evening involved a three course dinner, raffle, auctions and a Charleston masterclass delivered by Strictly Come Dancing judge, and the North West Anglia Hospitalsā Charity patron, Craig Revel Horwood.
