Community Diagnostics on Your High Street
The first of our Health on the High Street webinars, in this session we are joined by Ashleigh Boreham, deputy director of design and transformation at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group, and Jaime Bishop, founder of Fleet Architects and lead architect at Health Spaces, to discuss the setting up of the Community Diagnostic Centre in Poole. Established in Beale’s department store, the CDC has been described as a first of its kind and is an excellent example of Health on the High Street in action.
The CDC at Poole is an example of healthcare in the community in practice. In the recording above you can see in detail the plans and supporting documents from University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, which helped to form the business case for the diagnostic centre.
This webinar was hosted live on 23rd February 2022. Webinar series hosted by Health Spaces: Building a Way Out of the Backlog.
Please note that this Community Diagnostic Centre was not a Health Spaces project.
The Poole project was delivered by Beales, Legal and General, the landlords of the Dolphin Centre, CFES, architects BDP and Innova.
