With extensive knowledge in healthcare and retirement living, over the past 9 years Ed has cultivated expertise across the UK, Australia and New Zealand in architecture and design management demonstrating proficiency in overseeing complex projects from feasibility to planning applications, gaining approvals and detail designs.

MEET ED
Before moving to Health Spaces in 2023, Ed worked at SummerĀset, a premium retirement village and aged care operator in Australasia. During this time Ed was involved in several retirement and aged care building designs and worked through specific residentsā requirements through meticulous planning of care and dementia rooms as well as a in depth understanding of the operational requirements for care home staff.
Bringing global experience to UK healthcare
Ed has an interest in exploring how resident care rooms and dementia rooms could be modular, and is excited to work with Health Spaces to delivĀer this methodology in the UK.
We are delighted that Ed has joined the Health Spaces team as a design manager, working on healthcare design projects for our NHS partners as well as helping to lead innovation in our care home design services.
