A space to innovate – the new healthcare design studio in London

Health Spaces is heading to the capital with a brand new healthcare design studio just a two-minute walk away from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) in central London. The two-storey, versatile space comprises casual and formal working areas, with open-plan seating and hot desks allowing NHS partners to come in on an ad-hoc basis to work or hold meetings.

These spaces are complemented with private meeting rooms for more confidential, formal meetings with all the facilities you would expect from a co-working space. There’s the potential to host events on site, too. And there is an on-site coffee machine alongside other refreshments and beverages available to fuel whatever work you’re doing on the day and to make your visit a pleasant stay.

We are looking forward to hosting NHS clients from all over the UK for an immersive, collaborative and hi-tech design experience.

The space has been designed to enable creativity, allowing NHS colleagues to get out of their busy working environments for a day to spend quality, focused time workshopping and brainstorming to get the best design outcomes for their project. Flexible work environments and the latest digital technology enable a variety of activities, from master planning on our interactive wall and experimenting with 3D models to sketching layouts and exploring finishes selection. The space will be a hive of creativity; an oasis of innovation in the busy and demanding lives of our NHS colleagues.

The central London location– joining Health Spaces sites in Peterborough and Leeds – has obvious appeal in terms of accessibility, but its proximity to the Department of Health means Health Spaces can continue to support its close relationship with the organisation. This proximity will also allow us to keep closely aligned with the latest healthcare headlines and make it as easy as possible for NHS partners to reach us.

When it comes to healthcare estates projects, collaboration is essential, and our new London hub will bring people together to work on innovative solutions to challenges alongside healthcare architects, design consultants and healthcare specialists.

If you’re at the DHSC or NHS England HQ in Wellington House for the day and need some quiet time between meetings, you’re welcome to use the co-working space or one of our private meeting rooms.

Drop in any time. The site is due to open in June  2024. Click here to contact us to find out more or to book a meeting space.
