We exhibited at Care Show London in April and it was great to connect with colleagues from across the social care sector, sharing perspectives on the challenges and opportunities currently shaping the industry. Events like this are always a valuable chance to step back and better understand the pressures influencing care delivery.
Across our conversations, a recurring theme was how providers are navigating growth during financial uncertainty, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, workforce and keeping care firmly person‑centred. There was also increasing focus on the role of technology and AI, particularly around improving data sharing between social care and the NHS, and supporting more joined‑up, efficient models of care.
Altogether, the event highlighted how social care environments, both physical and digital, will need to continue evolving to meet growing demand and support better outcomes for people and communities, underlining the importance of how care settings are planned, designed and supported over the long term.
