NHS staff welfare areas allow clinicians to take a break, rest and eat their meals away from their working environment, with eating facilities equipped with comfortable seating, readily available refreshments and hygienic food preparation areas allowing for relaxation. Changing rooms provide privacy and dignity for staff, with suitable washing and toilet facilities available to use without delay that are clean, well ventilated and lit.
